Tips To Boost Adsense Earnings by Alicia Borden

Google Adsense has been known to help people generate income online without shelling out money at all. However, contrary to what other people might think simply putting up a blog and putting codes in won’t earn you the amount of money that you desire. If you want to do well with Adsense and see a few more digits in your paycheck there are a few tricks of the trade that you must know. Let me share some of them.

To improve your Adsense earnings, you should be able to know the proper ways of making a good amount of money online and therefore know the dos and don’ts of Google Adsense. If you are interested to know some tips, then here it is:

Use large units. Others may come to think that large units are a bit intrusive, but actually they are not. I will give you some numbers on which is suitable to use: the 336×280 large rectangle, the 300×250 rectangle, the 120×600 large skyscraper or the 728×90 leaderboard. Smaller units are quite disappointing; since they are small they can’t actually catch any attention at all. All four units mentioned above can produce good outcome.

For some webmasters, it works with placing the Ads above the fold. It means that you need to place your Ad below post titles. Doing it this way will make your Ads more visible, easily spotted and can therefore encourage more clicks from visitors or readers.

Use Adsense Feeds. This is also another program introduced by Google Inc. where you can display your Ads below your feed items or even on top. Again, placing your Ads is the trick. Make sure that your Ad placement is not so distracting but at the same time, make sure that the Ad can easily be noticed. If you find the perfect way to position your Ads, clicks will increase and as well as your paycheck.

Use different colors and fonts. It is a good thing to experiment since you really can’t tell which one would suit best for your visitors. Start with merging the same color of the Ads to your site, if that works then good, if not then try another thing. Usually some Ads prefer to have contrasting color with their site background. It just depends on what actually works best. You need to explore.

Now you know sure fire ways to increase your Adsense earnings. Other ways to earn more may come from your first hand experience. So basically, the thing here is that you need to be creative, you need to search and know what the viewers want and learn how to catch their attention so that you will be able to earn more from the program.

  1. Google Adsense is an easy way to make money from your blog. All you need to do is add a script from Google to your website and start displaying ads.
You will get paid for every time a user clicks on the ad. These are called CPC ads.
What is CPC? CPC stands for “cost per click.” By displaying CPC ads with Google Adsense, you receive a set fee every time an ad on your website is clicked by a visitor. The cost per click is set by the advertiser. (This is in contrast to CPM ads, where you’re paid for ad views instead of clicks. CPM means “cost per thousand impressions,” where M is the roman numeral for 1,000.)
Google Adsense is a good way to start earning money online when you are first starting out.
